Fraser Property’s landmark integrated development One Bangkok to open doors on Oct 25
One Bangkok, an integrated development situated in the Bangkok Central Business District, is prepared to start its doors to the general public on Oct 25. The property is built by TCC Assets, a subsidiary of Thai corporation TCC Group, and Frasers Property Holdings (Thailand), a unit following Singapore-listed Frasers Property. Frasers Property is also a member of TCC Group.
The masterplan for One Bangkok was made by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the architectural business behind notable high-rises such as New york city’s One World Trade Center and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
“By perfectly blending prominent centers with advanced sustainability and modernization, we are not simply developing a must-visit place for everyone staying in or exploring Bangkok– we are improving the future of urban living,” says Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, group CEO of Frasers Property.
According to the property developers, One Bangkok has an investment worth of US$ 3.2 billion ($4.17 billion), attaining among Thailand’s most extensive private ownership developments. Utilizing an acreage of 17ha, it includes 5 office towers, three housing towers and 8ha of greenery. It also has multiple retail sectors and five hotels, including Bangkok’s first Ritz-Carlton and Andaz real estates.
3 of the office high rises at the property development are already working, with occupants including multinational business such as Baker McKenzie, Estee Lauder Business, and BMW Group Thailand. The retail offerings are spread across 3 connected shopping malls, of which 2 will open on Oct 25.
The development also includes over 215,278 sq ft of interior and outdoor activity spaces, along with a 2km “Art Loop” that features artworks and some other installations.
“Designing One Bangkok goes beyond developing properties– we’ve crafted an ecosystem where nature is important to the encounter. The green spaces are not a second thought; they flow perfectly through the formulation, improving health and wellbeing and cultivating a deeper connection between a lot of people and the city,” claims Scott Duncan, design partner at SOM.
